CITA has announced that the 2007 quota period for Vietnam is being adjusted and that the quota, visa and ELVIS requirements are being eliminated for that country.Â
Vietnam’s quota period is changed to January 1, 2007 through January 10, 2007 and the quota/visa requirements are being eliminated for goods exported from Vietnam on or after January 11, 2007.
It is important to note that goods exported from Vietnam prior to January 11, 2007 will continue to be charged against the applicable quota (either 2006 or 2007) as well as continue to be subjective to paper visa and ELVIS requirements.Â
